Case Crunch is focused on building impactful presentations to succeed in future case competitions. Recruitment Series is focused on building strong resumes and cover-letters in addition to tips on networking and acing the interview process.

This event introduces YMA to prospective members. Club executives provide a timeline of events for the year and the benefits of membership. Working with our sponsors, kickoff will give students a 360-degree view of marketing, advertising, and sales, along with a diverse set of career paths and opportunities available to students within the field.
The Kickoff event allows our partners to teach students invaluable lessons that they would not explore within the classroom setting. The event will enable students to discover and interact with industry experts through a series of workshops and a keynote speaker.

First-year students are presented with a challenge by one of our partners, exposing them to real-life problems early in their marketing careers. The case competition will allow for critical thinking skills to create a solution that is not only feasible but creative. Through the preliminary application, students are allowed to showcase their communication skills through a sales pitch. Successful applicants will work in teams to present their ideas to industry judges.

Apprentice is our biggest case competition of the year, where teams of Schulich’s best and brightest marketers compete to generate ideas for your organization's primary concerns. In pairs, competitors will be challenged to apply their analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills to solve real-world problems presented by the partner. These coveted teams will showcase their creativity and communication skills to create out of the box marketing solutions.

This event will feature an engaging panel discussion and networking event featuring representatives from leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies. These industry professionals will share their career journey in marketing and sales with attendees, detailing their pathway from post-secondary education to their current positions. The CPG in Marketing event provides the opportunity for students to connect with industry professionals and gain insider insights on the different companies and career paths available in the world of CPG.
Partnering with the Schulich Future of Marketing Institute, this event is designed to be an interactive learning experience designed to immerse students in the cutting-edge technologies currently shaping the marketing landscape. Participants will have the opportunity to trial innovative software, such as AI tools, and apply their knowledge to predict industry trends with Schulich’s very own ‘Future of Marketing Institute.’ The event emphasizes the importance of leveraging artificial intelligence, insights, and data analytics in the modern marketing world.
